The MRS-id Meeting 2022 in Malang has ended. ILMI delegated six presenters to disseminate the research outcomes. They were Aan, Efa, Riris, Yadi—who presented the nanofiber development research—, William, and Mara—who delivered the hydrogel development research. Fortunately, one of those presenters, Riris, had an award as best presenter. Attending the event was memorable since not only we presented the papers but we also attended a seminar with experts. For example, how to do research for less-facilitated researchers was explained by Prof. Mikrajuddin Abdullah. It was inspiring. Other speakers, such as Prof. Dr. Kuwat Triyana, Dr. M. Safwan Bin Abdul Aziz, and Prof. Oana Jurchescu, also gave new ideas and perspectives on recent research trends. At this event, we met young and senior researchers who shared their research and offered collaboration. As previously mentioned by the former president of MRS-id, Prof. Dr. Eng. Khairurrijal, collaboration is crucial to enhancing the quality of research. Besides following the program set by the committee of MRS-id meeting 2022, we also explored and enjoyed several tourist attractions in Malang. We cannot wait for the next MRS-id meeting, and hopefully we will be involved in the future event.
